Optimal Multivitamin Powder
Optimal Multivitamin Powder
Optimal Multivitamin Powder by Seeking Health provides bioavailable nutrients in easy-to-absorb forms such as methylfolate and active B12, and minerals that are more readily utilized and gentle on the digestive system. Maintaining adequate nutritional intake from food alone can sometimes be challenging due to poor absorption, poor nutrient content in low-quality food, or other health complications, making supplementation an important part of maintaining optimal health. Optimal Multivitamin Powder has been carefully developed to contain the right proportions of vitamins, minerals, trace elements, and other nutrients.*
Each ingredient in this well-rounded multivitamin formula is chosen with its absorption, competitive relationship with other nutrients, allergenic potential, and long-term safety taken into consideration. Certain nutrients such as vitamin C, vitamin E, and B vitamins are included in high-potency amounts because of the vital roles they play in antioxidant support, normal energy production, and maintenance of healthy blood cells. Where possible, vitamins are included in their active coenzyme forms, such as vitamin B12 as adenosylcobalamin (dibencozide) and methylcobalamin, for optimal absorption. B12 is important for normal energy production and cognitive health, but is present in the diet mostly in meats, making it a common deficiency among vegans and vegetarians. L-5-MTHF, or methlyfolate, is the water-soluble coenzyme form of vitamin B9 and is the body's most prevalent form of folate in plasma. This form of folate may be especially supportive of methylation, which is important for healthy growth and development and many other body functions.*
Optimal Multivitamin Powder also includes compounds for specific functions of the body such as the eyes. Lutein and zeaxanthin, carotenoids naturally found in the diet in green leafy plants, are added to support healthy eyes and vision. Trace minerals, or “microminerals,” are important nutrients that the body needs in small amounts to maintain proper function. Typically taken up from the soil by plants, trace minerals may be lacking in the modern diet due to decreasing nutrient content in the soils used in commercial farming. Iron is a well-known mineral that plays an important role in the transfer of oxygen from the lungs to other tissues in the body through the blood. Amino acid-chelated forms of these minerals, such as Ferrochel® gentle iron and others used in this formula, are typically well-tolerated and easier on the stomach than other common supplemental forms.*
The powder format of this carefully formulated multivitamin allows for maximum control over dosage adjustments, making it possible to fine-tune your supplement regimen based on your individual needs. This powder can be added to smoothies or juices, or combined with your favorite powder supplements for a super-charged, tailored daily drink.
